Morton’s tenor voice has brought him success on the operatic stage and in his popular solo act, as well as in television commercials and voice-overs. He has sung with numerous regional opera companies in roles ranging from Rudolfo in "La Boheme" to Alfredo in "La Traviata." He also sang the role of Calaf in Puccini’s "Turandot" with the New Jersey State Opera at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. As a member of "These Three Tenors," Morton has toured around the world, and his vocal versatility can be heard on their current CD.
Lyric soprano Alicia Alexander’s operatic roles include the title roles in Puccini’s "Madama Butterfly," Fiotow’s "Martha" and Lehar’s "The Merry Widow." She has also performed the role of Marguerite in "Faust," Rosalinda in "Die Fledermaus," Gilda in "Rigoletto," Donna Elvira in "Don Giovanni," and both Mimi and Musetta in "La Boheme."
She had the privilege of working with one of Bulgaria’s foremost conductors, Mikhail Angeloff, during a concert tour there in 1997, where she sang to critical acclaim. Also at home in musical theater, she has been seen at the West End Gate in New York City in a musical revue titled "The 10% Solution," and at Lincoln Center in a stage adaptation of "Martin Eden."
Her performances as Violetta in Verdi’s "La Traviata" and Cio-Cio-San in Puccini’s "Madama Butterfly" at the Garde Arts Center in New London, Conn., garnered rave reviews.
A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, pianist Robert Herr has been performing on the music scene in New York City for more than 25 years. He has written over 25 translations of operas to his credit: the most famous being Puccini’s "La Rondine," which was performed by the New York City Opera and the Toronto Opera, along with several other opera companies.
